Denver Based ABA & Speech Therapy Center

Our south Denver center was built from a-dream

To create a space where speech-language pathologists, behavior analysts, and families work side-by-side to help children with complex communication needs truly learn to communicate.

At Integrated Speech & Behavior, everything we do centers on connection, science, and meaningful outcomes. Our clinic is designed for children ages 3–8 who are non-speaking or minimally verbal, and who benefit from AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) or speech-generating devices.

We offer two in-center service models:

Speech & AAC Therapy

Frequency: 2x per week
These sessions focus exclusively on speech and communication development for children who do not need ABA services.
Therapy may target:

  • AAC setup and strategic planning
  • Vocabulary training in the AAC device or vocal vocabulary fluency using specific meaning languag targets
  • Replacing inappropriate or idescyratic behavior with replacement communication in AAC
  • Speech sound development and motor planning
  • Specific skills for AAC fluency: matching, categorizing, understanding symbols
  • Receptive language development
  • Introduction to literacy when appropriate
  • Communication repair and initiation

Each child’s program is built around joy, connection, and data-driven progress. Families receive hands-on training to support generalizatin of skills from the therapy room to communication at home and in the community.

Integrated Speech + ABA Program

Frequency: Speech therapy 3x per week within a full-day or half-day ABA program

This is the heart of our clinic — where speech-language therapy and ABA merge into one powerful, transdisciplinary model. Every learner’s day includes structured teaching, communication-rich play, super fun group lessons, literacy development, vocal speech when appropriate, daily living skills, school readiness, and embedded AAC instruction.

Our speech-language pathologists, BCBAs, and RBTs collaborate constantly — problem-solving, innovating, and refining programs in real time. Speech therapists coach and train RBTs, ensuring every child practices communication across settings and with every team member.

This model allows for:

  • Consistent, intensive teaching opportunities throughout the day
  • Integrated data collection and progress tracking, ensuring review of how quickly skills are being learned and generalized.
  • Shared professional growth across disciplines.
  • Faster, more meaningful communication gains.
