Consultative and Remote Services

Expert AAC and communication support, anywhere.

For families, schools, and ABA teams outside the Denver area or out of state, we offer remote consultation and coaching focused on communication and AAC implementation.

Why Remote Consultation?

Not every family or therapy team can access an in-person AAC or communication specialist—but every learner deserves one. Through our consultative and remote services, we bring the same research-based, integrated approach used in our Denver clinic to families, schools, and ABA teams across the country.

Who We Support

For teens and young adults who have exceeded the age limit of our Clinic for ABA+speech or just speech therapy, but who need specialized support in communication.

We prioritize communication-based replacement strategies to reduce risk and frustration using AAC.  For individuals who struggle to participate in speech therapy due to high-magnitude behavior, we can offer consultative support around their communication, prioritizing replacing the behavior with communication using common-sense tools.

Expert input on AAC systems, verbal behavior goals, and data-driven programming.

What We Do

Live modeling and practical coaching for caregivers, teachers, and ABA staff (natural language teaching, prompting, reinforcement).

Audit goals, data collection, and progress monitoring to identify gaps and refine instruction.

Scheduled follow-ups to adapt systems and track measurable progress.

FAQs

Can you recommend or program a specific AAC system remotely?

Yes. We evaluate current needs and make tailored recommendations, including page sets and organization, but we cannot do a funded AAC eval remotely to help obtain a speech generating device funded by insurance.

Do you provide written plans or training materials?

Absolutely—every consult comes with actionable guidance your team can use right away.

How do you collaborate with existing providers?

We co-plan goals, share data frameworks, and align behavior supports with communication targets.

Do you accept insurance for remote services?

Coverage varies by state and service type. We’ll review options and provide documentation as needed.
